Project Overview

The Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme Phase 2 is a major infrastructure project designed to improve flood protection across Leeds and surrounding communities, reducing the risk posed by extreme flood events and future climate change.

Advantage Pumping Solutions was appointed by BAM Nuttall to deliver three permanent pumping stations at Burley Mills, Wyther Lane and Apperley Bridge, providing full mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) design, installation, commissioning and handover as part of the wider River Aire flood defence programme.
